Pastor Charlie Legassey
Principal
Pastor Legassey received his Bachelor’s Degree from Assumption College in 1968 and was a math instructor at Xavier High School, Concord, MA upon graduation. He then spent more than 20 years in the insurance industry, which included sales, administration and office management, before being appointed Chief Financial Officer of MetroWest Worship Center. He assisted Pastor Ernest W. Frye in the establishment of MCA in 1993 and has been a School Board Member since its inception. Pastor Legassey was appointed Principal of MCA in July 2008. “The goal of MCA is to provide quality education, Christian character development and nurture young minds to follow Biblical life principles as taught by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Mrs. Stacy Frye
Vice Principal/K4
Mrs. Frye has been teaching since 1994. She has taught Kindergarten as well as 2nd through 8th grade. After being born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, she went to college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1992, she graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Education. She believes that teaching is a profession that exceeds many others in the rewards received. She firmly believes that teachers have the opportunity to touch and change children’s lives forever. We at MCA believe that is what we are called to do not just by teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic, but teaching and training character. Mrs. Rebecca Hart
Executive Administrator
Mrs. Hart has been with the school since its inception in the fall of 1993. In addition to her administrative duties, she directed the annual Christmas production for many years. Since 2002 she has been privileged to share her knowledge through annual seminars with Administrative Assistants at the Association of Christian Schools International Educator Conference. Mrs. Hart enjoys coming to work every day not only because of the wonderful people with whom she works, but also because the students always ensure that no two days are ever the same. She fully embraces the faculty core values: "Everywhere an Example, Excellence in Everything, Everything is in My Job Description".

Mrs. Deirdre Lewis

Mrs. Lewis has been married since 1990 and has three children. She received her bachelor's degree from Bethune Cookman University in Dayton Beach, Florida in 1988. Mrs. Lewis has been teaching elementary aged children for over twenty years in her own church school and has been teaching kindergarten here at MCA since 2007. The Lewis' children have attended MCA over the course of ten years.

Mrs. Vickie Polchlopek
Kindergarten Assistant
Vicki has been married to Bob Polchlopek since 1997, and they have 4 children. Her youngest two children currently attend MCA. Vicki has many years experience with children from parenting her own to working with differently abled children of various age groups. The Polchlopek family is active at MetroWest Worship Center and has a great appreciation for being able to provide a Christian education for their children.
Mrs. Susan Birchler
Kindergarten Assistant
Mrs. Birchler holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children since 1990 and has been a kindergarten assistant at MCA since 2004. She loves to do arts and crafts which is always evident to anyone who visits the kindergarten department. The two youngest of her three children have attended MCA since kindergarten.
Mrs. Laura Glass
First Grade
Mrs. Glass graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University where she maintained a 4.0 grade point average. In addition to her education degree, she is also ESL certified. Mrs. Glass was raised in a Christian home and is enthusiastic about bringing Christianity into the classroom. She believes teaching is not just about academics, but also about behavior, respect, and diversity. She and her husband live in Hudson.

Mrs. Erica Laramee
Second/Third Grade
Mrs. Laramee has been teaching at MCA since 2001. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Taylor University in Indiana and moved the next year to Massachusetts where she discovered MCA. She loves teaching for many reasons, but especially because she enjoys the excitement for learning shown by her students. Her favorite subjects to teach are phonics and reading, which are a foundational part of a student’s education.

Mrs. Amy Anderson
Fourth/Fifth Grade
Mrs. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Longwood College in Famville, VA. She has been teaching since 1994, including mission school teaching in Arizona and Africa. She has been a part of the MCA faculty since 2000 and is the summer tutoring program coordinator.

Mrs. Joan Legassey
Chapel Director/Prayer Coordinator
Mrs. Legassey received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1966 and joined MetroWest Worship Center in 1981. Her love for worship drew her into the Music Ministry where she currently serves as Administrative Assistant to the Worship Director. She has been a Small Group Leader of Women since 1996 with a passion for Prayer and the Bible. In 2000 Mrs. Legassey was appointed as the Prayer Coordinator for MCA and now has served as Chapel Director since September of 2008. “My goal is to bring the Bible alive to the children in a way that they will not only remember but also then have the desire to pursue the love of God in a personal way.”
